A2A-class protocols connect peers: agents delegating tasks and exchanging messages. AWP connects an agent to an environment it inhabits. The tell: in A2A both sides are minds; in AWP one side is a world that enforces physics and safety on the other. They meet in multi-agent worlds: agents sharing an AWP world perceive each other as entities and MAY coordinate over A2A out of band — or through in-world communication actions when you want the exchange auditable and physical.
